morning pancake-making sessions.

Your home is where your story is.

There is no more perfect backdrop than the home your

family has made together. The paint on the walls, the

furniture in the dining room, and the kids’ art posted on the

fridge are all beautiful details that are uniquely yours.

Five, ten, twenty years from now, you’ll marvel at how small

the children once were, or how grandma threw her head

way back when she laughed. But you’ll also notice the

beloved cat snoozing in the background, the art on the walls,

or the rocking chair that you once sat to nurse or read.

MEET RHEA

I'm a family documentary photographer in Oakland.

Photography is a way to preserve memories. As a mother of teenaged children

who are nearing their launch, I’ve often worried I’d forgot what they were like at

different stages. Like my son’s early love of basketball or how my daughter used

to stick her tongue out when she learned to write her name.

It brings me joy to capture those moments for other families too. I strive to

make images that are treasured for a lifetime and depict the relationships that

bond you and the milestones that define you.
